NHS’ Arts Education Department is once again planning a dynamic season of band competitions, choral and drama
productions, visual arts exhibits and dance concerts. Join us! Buy an ad or become a sponsor for this year’s arts programs. Business and community support makes an important statement to our students and is essential for the continued growth and success of arts education at Northwood.

Ad Information
This fall, NHS will print 4450 programs for the entire year. Each production will have individual inserts. Northwood’s Benjamin J. Lee Auditorium is one of the largest performing arts spaces in Chatham County, seating approximately 525. Full color ads are available on the front inside cover, the back inside cover, and the back outside cover. Interior ad pages will be black & white.

Sponsors will be acknowledged in this year’s programs. Donations are tax deductible. All sponsors receive season passes to performances*. Checks should be made to Northwood High School (Note: Arts Education).

Applause $25-$49
Hats Off $50-$74
[Applause & Hats Off receive 1 pass to 1 performance of each show]
Curtain Call $75-$99
[Curtain Calls receive 2 passes to 1 performance of each show]
Encore $100-$124
Show Stoppers $125+
[Encore & Show Stoppers receive 2 passes to unlimited performances.]
*Excluding Memorial Day Band Concert, the Instrumental Music Dept. major fundraiser of the year.

NHS Chargers Football team falls to Kinston 34-21

The Chargers lost their first EVER third round playoff game, that was played at home, tonight.  The Kinston team came to play and play they did.  Smashmouth football straight up the middle all night.   A fine running game by Kinston, several key turnovers by Northwood, and one very unfortunate holding...

The Siler City Elementary School Turkey Trot was awesome. For the people who don't know what that is it's basically a race when a boy can win and a girl can win. A boy named D.J won and the girl who won was me!!!

My girl won Cranberry Sauce at the Silk Hope Turkey Trot (meaning she came in 3rd).

The kids look forward to the trot every year.
